WHO WE ARE
Timber Picture Co. is a spirited and scrappy production company and post house nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
Beginning in 2016, The Timber team has produced a number of short films, commercials, and music videos along with providing post production on numerous theatrical feature films, network TV Shows, commercials, documentaries, music videos, and social media platform across the globe. And there's nothing we love more than seeing our work out in the wild.
Timber originally put down its roots on the post production side of the industry but over the years has been steadily growing its production capabilities. Whether through production or post, our top priority is connecting audiences to stories, and we obsess over every detail until it hits just right.
THE CRAFT
PRODUCTION //
There's nothing more magical than when writing, set design, wardrobe, acting, cinematography and sound come together and coalesce into something real. Organizing a shoot from concept to completion is an art from all its own, but we work with an extended network of talented creatives who bring their all to every project.
POST PRODUCTION //
Just as a lumberjack slices through raw timber, a good editor can cut through a forest of footage to carve out a gripping narrative. We pride ourselves on our ability to see the forest through the trees, cutting our way through to something great. Whether its Editing, VFX, Motion design, or Color...we do it all.
THE FOUNDERS
ANDY MATTHEWS & AARON THARP
Over the last 10 years Andy Matthews and Aaron Tharp have grown their love for filmmaking into a creative company that works on projects big and small across the film industry. While cutting their teeth as editors they realized they had other ambitions outside of the editors chair. Directing and Producing was a natural next step as they began to grown as a company. To date they have directed a number of Award-Winning Short Films and successful Commercial Campaigns, along with their continued work as seasoned editors on various Feature Films, TV shows, and Branded Commercials. Their love for editing and storytelling fuels their ambitions as directors and gives them the ability to see the end from the beginning. This ambition is the driving force behind their work and continues to inspire them as they pursue bigger and bolder future projects.
